Welcome to the Take Our Kids to Work Resources Hub!

You are here because you will be participating, in some way or another, into this year’s most recognized career exploration program in Canada. We are very happy to offer you a comprehensive collection of resources to help make your Take Our Kids to Work Day experience as impactful as possible. Robotics in Canada: A Glimpse Inside the Robotics Institute

Join us on a tour of the University of Toronto Robotics Institute, a leader in cutting-edge robotics research and a founding member of the Canadian Robotics Council. Sponsored by NGen, the industry-led, non-profit organization at the forefront of Canada’s Global Innovation Cluster for Advanced Manufacturing, this "Walk With Me" video offers a behind the-scenes look at the groundbreaking work happening in the lab. As we meet the brilliant minds behind these innovative projects and observe robots in action, you'll discover how the Robotics Institute represents the future of robotics in Canada. Breaking Barriers, Transforming Communities Cornerstone Video

To kick off TOKW Day 2024, we are excited to present a cornerstone video featuring Students Commission of Canada and RBC. This video will set the tone for the day and provide valuable insights into the significance of the program and the opportunities it offers for career exploration and community engagement. In addition, students will be able to get a virtual tour of RBC, meeting various employees and learning more about their unique journey.

Career Live!

A youth doesn’t have an in-person placement for the day? We’ve got you covered! Take Our Kids to Work - Career Live! is a national day-long virtual event designed to bring career exploration to life for students across Canada. It provides a unique platform where students can engage in real-time with professionals from various industries, ask questions, and gain insights into a wide array of career paths.
